Las Vegas

Since we were going to Las Vegas for a wedding, we decided to arrive a little early and take in the
sights.  This was our first time in Vegas as a family.  I can definitely see why this town is buzzing 24
hours a day, 365 days a year.  Much of Vegas is not necessarily our cup o' tea, but there was
still plenty to keep us busy and entertained.

First stop was the M&M Store.  It was packed...with M&Ms and people!

This M&M tunnel reminded me of that one ride at Universal Studios Tour.  I'm not
sure if that ride even exists anymore.

We then moved next door to the Coca Cola Store.

Something about drinking Coke from this bottle makes it taste better!

Here's my boy entertaining himself in our hotel room.

I must say, The Venetian is quite the hotel.  We didn't stay there, but we enjoyed walking around it.

No matter how hot or cold it is outside the hotel, the mood is always perfect inside.
Vegas hotels really know how to keep their guests inside their hotels!

Blue Man Group plays at The Venetian.  I've never seen them
perform live, but I've heard it's an incredible show.

Just to the left of the stage above is Postrio, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, which is
where Saturday's wedding reception was held.

Here's a shot of the banquet room a day before the wedding.

On Friday night, we met up with JoAnn's sister's family and ate at the Burger Bar, located
inside the mall portion of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.  Great burgers!  If desired, you can top off your
burger with black truffles, but it would set you back $30...for the truffles only!

After dinner, we made our way over to the Fountains of Bellagio.

Bellagio & Caesars Palace

We were exhausted by the end of the night, and we still had a full day of wedding festivities
waiting for us the next day.  I hope to have some wedding photos up soon.
